When I was coming up, one of my guitar teachers dropped a stack of arpeggio fingerings in front of me and said, "Learn these." No context. No system. Just a bunch of shapes and a "good luck." If that sounds familiar, you're not alone. I hear it all the time.

Here's what I eventually realized. The problem was never the shapes. It's that nobody ever showed me how to actually practice them, and more importantly, how to use them.
