Add Hybrid Picking to Your Blues!!!

One of the most important techniques I have incorporated into my playing has been hybrid picking.

I used to think the technique of using your pick and fingers was only for country guitar and chickin’ picking so I didn’t it give it much attention.

In retrospect I realized this was plain old silly, all my favorite blues guitarist play with pick and fingers in both rhythm and lead playing!

From the delta masters, to Buddy Guy, BB, Freddie King, Albert King, Albert Collings, Clapton, Stevie, Billy, Robben, and, more.

I can’t imagine playing blues, well any style for that matter, without using both pick and fingers!

Like any technique, it can be overwhelming at first, but no worries, in the Hybrid Picking The Blues I will show you all you need to know to get you on your way to play like a pro.
