Triads Unlocked Live Master Class

Most triad lessons stop at chord shapes. Here's the triad. Here's the next one up the neck. Memorize the fingerings. Good luck making music out of it.

That's not the way I use triads. The way I actually see them isn't as chords, but as melodic material.

Take two triads a step apart. Play them over a single chord, and you're not thinking about the triads as shapes or fingerings anymore, or even as chords from a scale. You're thinking of them as ways to build melodic lines that sound like nothing else in your playing.

That's a triad pair, and that's exactly what I'll be covering in this live master class. We'll build them from the ground up over a I chord vamp, first in Dorian, then in Mixolydian, so you hear the sound clearly before you ever try to use it over a song or in a performance. And yes, at the end of the master class, I'll get to how this applies over the blues as well.
